Until this year we've been riding in a grass ring - which isn't terrible, but especially when the weather is really dry, the ground gets very hard and it's not ideal - especially for our advanced riders. So - we are super excited that with the support of family, friends, barn family, leasers, and contractors we were able to put in a BIG ring with soft footing. We continue to believe that the heart of a great riding program is the care of the horses and the community of the people. A fancy indoor arena and center aisle barn would be nice one day but until then, we're doing big things in the big outdoor!
(And while we were at it we filled it the most terrible potholes on the driveway. Praise the Lord! Save the Oil Pans! )
